NSW: Laws to face court tomorrow

Broadcaster JOHN LAWS will face court tomorrow charged with soliciting information
about the secret deliberations of a jury.

Mr LAWS has pleaded not guilty to the charge.

His trial before a jury, set down for five days, will take place in the New South Wales
Supreme Court.

Mr LAWS interviewed on radio station 2UE a distressed woman in August 1998, who had
been a juror in the trial of two men accused of murdering a Sydney shop owner.
