Fed: Costello backs research on discarded embryos
Treasurer PETER COSTELLO says he supports the use of already created embryos for researchin limited and controlled circumstances.
Mr COSTELLO says he's against creating embryos for research, but the issue that's comeup is in relation to already created embryos which are going to be destroyed anyway.
The treasurer says he'd like MPs to have a conscience vote on the issue.
